Critical XCharge® and Remote Client Manager (RCM)
Update for Security Enhancements

A critical software update is required in order to maintain compliance with a PCI Security Standards council mandate and best practices. It is important you install this update as soon as possible but no later than March 31, 2018 to avoid payment processing interruption. All systems used to process payments need to perform this software update.

What action do I need to take?

It is important to identify the software currently being used to process payments before updating. Software used for processing can be found:

  • Windows: In the bottom right corner of your Windows taskbar or by browsing your programs in the Windows Start Menu for one of the following programs.
  • MacOS: Remote Client Manager (RCM) icon can be found on the Menu Bar as a running service.
